Tribe of Issachar

Tribe of Issachar

Issachar is Leah's fifth son and Jacob's ninth son. In the Torah, the character of Issachar is not as widely developed as some of his brothers, but he has a significant place in Jacob's blessing and Moses' blessing. Issachar is described as having a penchant for Torah study and wisdom. In Jacob's blessing, he is likened to a bony donkey lounging between his lips, a description interpreted as representing his strength and willingness to bear the burden of Torah study. Jewish tradition attributes to the tribe of Issachar qualities of wisdom, learning and the ability to understand the times. In the Book of Chronicles, it is mentioned that the sons of Issachar were "knowledgeable at times."

Greetings

Leah's blessing at birth (Genesis 29)

״In the evening, when Jacob came in from the field, Leah went out to him and said, Tonight you are to come to me, for I have given my son's love-fruits as a price for you. And he went in to her that night. And God gave ear to her and she became with child, and gave Jacob a fifth son.״

Jacob's Blessing (Genesis 49)

״ Issachar is a strong ass stretched out among the flocks: And he saw that rest was good and the land was pleasing; so he let them put weights on his back and became a servant.״

The Blessing of Moses (Deuteronomy 33)

״And of Zebulun he said, Be glad, Zebulun, in your going out; and, Issachar, in your tents.
They will send out the word for the people to come to the mountain, taking there the offerings of righteousness: for the store of the seas will be theirs, and the secret wealth of the sand.״

The link to counting Binah (1 Chronicles, chapter 12)

Spiritual role

The tribe of Issachar come to teach how to connect the spiritual soul to the physical body, and to properly connect spirit and matter.  Their job is to encourage those around them that there is a reward for their actions, and not to be afraid of difficult paths. Know the secrets of Torah and understand depths that are not always accessible to others. They have high resilience and endurance that allows them to carry life and not despair. Issachar was born as a result of a collaboration between Rachel and Leah, and is a mirror of blessed collaborations that are mutually beneficial.

Spiritual correction

Coping with complex emotions: The worldview can be very black and white, a tendency to self-destruction and flight, they must develop a deeper connection to their emotions, aspire to a balanced emotional world and get out of ebb and flow, know how to ask for help.

Body perception: There can be a lot of preoccupation with the physical body or on the other hand neglect (extreme situations) They must make sure that they do not abandon the spirit and know how to balance.

Collaborations and barters: YShachar and Zevulun are the example of the first barter of the Torah, in which each tribe did what was good at it (Issachar – constantly studying Torah, Zevulun – responsible for making a living), in addition to their blessing mentioned "between the lips" there is a good ability to communicate verbally and create cooperation.

Communication and mobility: This is a tribe that is on the move, and has good and focused communication but sometimes does not want to leave their comfort zone (their stone is a sapphire from tongue to book). Issachar is the secret of the oral Torah, full of quibbles, polemics and lovers to talk.

Relationships: Be practical and purposeful, aspire to marry and establish a home, loyal, possessive.

"I am here present in the land and call upon all my ancestors from the tribe of Issachar to support me. I walk step by step, confidently and with the belief that there is a reward for every action, act or thought. In my walk, any materiality that does not serve me, restricts or pressures is released. I'm learning to connect with my spirit. I accept the changing situations in my life and learn to share loads with the environment."

Mantra for healing – treat and connect with me softly and pleasantly

Jacob's greetings to his sons

Jacob's greetings to his sons

The book of Genesis ends with a series of blessings of Jacob's instructions to his sons, the tribes of Israel. The Torah commentators were faced with the question: What is the essence of blessings? What is the overall message that our forefather Jacob sought to convey to us? Let's look a little at the content of the blessings: Reuben, as the firstborn, deserved to be king. But he was rejected because he was "carbonated as water," meaning that his recklessness might
