7. Tribe of Dan
Dan is Bilha's eldest son, Rachel's slave, and Jacob's fifth son. In the Torah, Dan's character is not widely developed in personal stories, but he receives special attention in the blessings of Jacob and Moses. In Jacob's blessing, Dan is described as "Yadin with him as one of the tribes of Israel" and resembles a serpent on the road, suggesting qualities of cunning and tactical wisdom.
Jewish tradition attributes to the tribe of Dan qualities of heroism and combativeness, and tells of its important role in defending the people. Samson the hero, one of the most prominent characters in the Book of Judges, was from the tribe of Dan. At the same time, the Midrash relates that Jeroboam ben Nevat, who led the division of the kingdom and established golden calves, was also from the tribe of Dan, indicating the dual potential of the tribe.

Spiritual role
The tribe of Dan plays a unique spiritual role as healers and dreamers with deep intuition. They are connected to the wisdom of the spirit and the occult, and combine sensuality with physical and spiritual balance. Their power lies in their ability to listen, contain and heal in creative ways, while creating sacred sexuality and dealing with doubts. They lead with love and compassion, transform darkness into light, and deal with the balance between good and evil through an inner movement similar to a spiral. Their connection to earth and movement allows them to move between worlds and bring healing and renewal wherever they go.
Spiritual correction
The individual within them: One can welcome the qualities of the individualist in Dan: Dan Yadin with him – first he begins with him and only afterwards are the tribes of Israel mentioned. And the word alike means discussing units like the uniqueness of the world. An example of this is the figure of Samson, the hero from the tribe of Dan, who alone did justice in the world, and did not need help. They must learn to open up to outside help as well.
Dealing with complex emotions: Dan has a very strong individual and yet the desire to help others, sometimes closing themselves off and not cooperating, complex sexuality, a desire for holiness and yet an opening to impurity, as holders of the sense of irritation "anger and do not sin" to pass through the degree of anger from a place of advance. This is reflected in the motif of repeated duplication in the traits and characteristics of the tribe: they have 2 estates and 2 symbols and 2 letters in the name, indicating complexity.
The Inner Serpent: Turning the Serpent of Impurity into the Holy Serpent – Dan as their name is related to the measure of judgment and yet in the blessing of their birth Rachel said that although there was judgment, at the same time God also heard in her voice and brought salvation. They must raise the measure of judgment to the positive places, help others overcome the evil inclination. In Dan there are 2 snakes, a large snake and a pifon snake: "Let Dan be a serpent on me through a visitor's pipon." The shpion symbolizes the subjugation of the evil inclination.
Recall the holiness of them: the tribe of Judah and Dan built together the Tabernacle in the desert, Bezalel of the tribe of Judah was in charge of the inner sheets and Aholiav of the tribe of Dan was in charge of the outer sheets. Dan must remember that they must act cooperatively and give their unique gift and not shut themselves off. There is a certain fear of their power that comes along with their spiritual role, as it is said in the blessing "and his rider shall fall backwards" they are capable of harming another.
Relationships: The tribe of Dan is very intuitive and open in their relationship as well, allowing and giving space to their partner. They must learn to overcome judgment in their lives, distractions that can divert them from the path (Nahalat Dan was next to the Philistines, which was considered lewd) and sharpen their marital loyalty. The one who came to help with their virtues was the tribe of Judah, just as the tribe of Judah came to bridge between Samson the hero and the Philistines.
"I am here present in the land and call upon all my ancestors from the tribe of Dan to support me. I love wandering around looking for my next point of interest. To meet and meet, to create and beat my heart. In the life of a heaven and earth author. I am learning to let go of identification with a certain side and aspire to the middle path. I dismiss any delusion that comes my way and choose what is right for my soul and my destiny."
Mantra for healing – respect my need for my emotional space and independence and accept the movement of opposites within me
